TENNCARE
Provides health insurance to
those who are eligible for the Medicaid program.
This includes but is not limited to the
following persons:
·
Children under age 21
·
Women who are pregnant
·
Single parents or caretakers of a
minor child (The child must live with you and
be a close relative.)
·
Two-parent families with a minor
child living at home when one of the parents:
·
Has lost their job or had their
work hours cut, or
·
Has a health or mental health
problem expected to last 30 days (DHS will need
proof from your doctor)
·
Women who need treatment for
breast or cervical cancer
· People who get a SSI check
(Supplemental Security Income)
COVER RX
Provides prescription drug coverage for those
Tennesseans who do not have prescription
medication insurance coverage.
COVER TN
Provides affordable health
insurance to those that are employed but cannot
afford heath insurance. This coverage is paid
for by the individual, the employer and the
State of Tennessee.
COVER KIDS
Provides free health coverage to those
Tennesseans age 18 and younger that qualify.
ACCESS TN
Provides health insurance to
those who have been denied health insurance
coverage because of a pre-existing medical
condition. |
